Perhaps ambagious.
One day I will push a grammar nazi to the edge of their endurance; without warning, I'll mysteriously disappear with a startled gasp and a "URGHhrghgggghhh!". When that happens, please feel free to ignore the peculiar trickle of red meandering towards some cliff. You should, instead, go and untie the bottle of red ink from the leg of whichever pitiful seagull I've decided to prank.

This, ladies and gentlemen, is the spectacular view from the lunch room at work. Oh hark! Look at that circular window, and the vibrant yellow. See how charming the textured sun-bleached wood and concrete brings out the artificial whiteness of the plastic pipe. Isn’t it just marvelous? Don’t you just want to reach out and touch that wall (which wouldn’t be difficult at all even with the kitchen bench and old microwave in the way).
Jokes aside though, I think the murky, intangible cloud that has been my life and future has slowly started to clear away and I can sort of see the way I want to go. Sort of. Point is, things are starting to coalesce and coagulate together so I don’t feel like I’m blindly grappling at random things so much. Finally.

Cool info on antique Coca-Cola bottles here.
One of the random things that tend to pique my interest are glass bottles. I’m not even really sure why. Maybe its the transparency and way images are warped and distorted why you look through them, or the way liquid sloshes around inside. Perhaps, its the general aesthetics, the curvature of the glass and the possible thoughts behind designing them a certain way to appeal to consumers. Who knows? All I know is that I like them.. and people give me strange looks whenever I ask to keep the bottle. (Sometimes I ask others for theirs; though, I only ask people I’m really close to so it’s not like I pop up next to compete strangers eagerly waiting for them to finish their drink so I can yoink the bottle or something.)

Today was the first time my sister and I have gotten a chance to webcam in a while and this was what greeted her on Skype. Ah, family. Also, since we’ve run out of things to talk about and she’s busy messaging her boyfriend, I’ve been singing (term loosely employed here since I’m not sure what else I’d be able to classify it as) 90’s songs like My Heart Will Go On for the past hour. And people wonder why I’m particular about who I webcam with. THIS IS WHY. I CALL IT THE WEBCAM EFFECT. I get bothered by the silence and start singing, or drawing things on post it notes or origami and sticking them onto my face.

I’ve recently taken a liking to taking photos of blocks of yellow things (usually books) if I happen upon them… >__>

See, this is the kind of stuff I end up doing when I’m being an irresponsible uni student. I do things like think of lame puns for nerdy celebrations, plan out a correspondingly lame present for a friend, buy a metal fork from two different shops (cue amused and confused stares from the shop keepers. “Err, will that be all?”), choose  Russian and Polish confectionery based on how I can incorporate them into another lame pun, pay for said $1.25 worth of lollies with a fifty-dollar note (I had five 5 cent coins and a fifty. The shop keeper didn’t have enough change for me so she had to go across the street to buy bread from another shop.. sorry, store lady!), spend the rest of the day silently sniggering about my “genius” plan, make the card (print pictures, cut pictures out and stick onto forks, stick forks and lollies onto card, draw and write stuff in card with white out because I don’t have other writing utensils that can write on black) and wrap everything up in red cellophane … like a boss*.

May the forks be with you.
Fml. Forgot I don’t have gel pens to write on black paper. This is in whiteout…
May the lollies grant you
grape
poweh
like a cow?! >__>
4/5

That is a drawing of Yoda, by the way.
Details about the lollies:
top purple one: Russian. I think it’s grape flavoured? I’m not even sure if it’s a chocolate or not.
middle: I’m guessing it’s Russian. Wrapper has a picture of camels and the tag line for the lolly seems to be “POWEH”, which I am probably mispronouncing as power.
bottom yellow: Polish fudge. The friend I’m giving this Polish and loves this. Also, I keep buying it for her with the intention of giving it to her but so far each time I meet up with her I’ve succeeded in forgetting to bring it with me. No really, I honestly do forget. I SWEAR I’M NOT CONVENIENTLY “FORGETTING” SO I CAN EAT IT. D:
Oh, and the picture of Darth Vader’s body didn’t have legs so I drew them on…

Assignment due in nine hours. Having trouble writing and drawing. Oh well, at least it looks pretty, right? That must count for something, right? RIGHT? D;
Also, fingers crossed the course coordinator is a Harry Potter fan. >___>

Progression on today’s to-do list:
6:30am - write up a proper draft about the isosteres and bioisosteres assignment, draft an explanatory comic for an assignment, make notes on my biom lectures in preparation for the mid-sem exam, find out how to compound prac stuff, research for post-lab questions, draw up a proper plan for tomorrow’s prac, finish preparing for tomorrow’s tute, do prep work for tomorrow’s lectures, finish pre-tutorial work, edit the tute group’s wiki forum page for this week’s class, make math worksheets for my tutoring session, and fix up my brother’s speech and help him practise it. (Okay, I should be able to get most of that done. Doesn’t look too hard.)

Jeeze, the msn dp is rather uninspiring. Hmm, let’s quickly draw a picture on MS Paint that will help me concentrate on studying.)

To the macadamia nuts, almonds and cashews, thank you. Without you today I wouldn’t have survived sitting through the two-hour lecture about the specific registration, how legislation works, how it’s sorted out and all the content of the registration of interest. Every time I started nodding off or found it too hard to peel my eyelids open, I stuffed a nut into my mouth. To think that I actually had enough sleep for once and still found it difficult to stay awake! Well, at least it’s confirmed that not doing law was a wise choice. Also, it’s quite hard eating nuts without making a noise.
In other news, yesterday I counted 31 millipedes crawling across the 200-metre stretch of pavement behind the hospital I walk past in the morning. Today though, I could only spot 14.
p.s. I spent all night drawing this on MS Paint for youuuuu, awesome food!
