Little kids laughing at being sprayed by water
A lot of people find it amusing or even odd that I get amused by simple or little things/details. It’s how I savour life and the world around me though, seeing and appreciating the wonders of everything. If only people stopped to look around them and opened their eyes a little more they’d be able to see the beauty and magic surrounding us. (I know that sounds really cheesy.) When we’re young everything seems to be amazing - the way the top twirls and dances on a table, how the leaves slowly sway from side to side as it drifts down, our hair as it seems to become alive and whip around crazily and tickle our face when a strong sea breeze blows our way… However, as we grow up, we become more and more busy and so focused on what’s ahead, we forget to look at (or maybe too readily dismiss?) what’s next to us. It’s kind of sad really.
